Babel Fish Translation - This Altavista site can translate webpages and text from various languages to English and vice-versa and also between a limited number of other languages. The translation isn't always that good, but sometimes that's better than nothing.
Merriam-Webster Online - Every once in a while you need a dictionary to look up that odd word or to double-check for correct spelling. What's great about this site is that you can even listen to pronunciation samples when you're not quite sure about that either and all without not having to pull out that heavy dictionary of yours.
