AveQute

As stated on the homepage, AveQute.com is a collection of websites based on my hobbies and interests. More or less they happen to have an element of cute in them. (^_^)

This site came about because of an idea I had for a different website back around 2000, which I had actually started preparing but haven't fully developed just yet. Hopefully, I'll get around to making that one site soon, or it will take me another 5 years. (^^;)

The name AveQute was inspired by the 2004 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, Avenue Q. So, it's "ave" as in "avenue," and "qute" (pronounced as "cute") comes from the "Q." I love things that are cute and enjoy watching theatre, so I thought it was an appropriate and fitting name.

Aside from designing this website, my other hobbies and interests include: cooking, baking, arts & crafts, art, handknitting, collecting toys (mostly stuffed toys and especially Japanese "UFO Catcher" plushes), watching anime and East Asian television dramas, and watching musical theatre...just to name a few. (^_^) I'm hardly an expert in any one of those subjects—too many interests, not enough time. (^_^;) That being said, you can expect to see websites by me about those topics in the future.
